Maria E. Bergenhem

Counsel

Overview

Maria Bergenhem has spent her entire career advising privately held life sciences and technology companies of various sizes from early stages through exit on corporate matters, venture capital, debt and other financing transactions, governance matters, and day-to-day contracting.

Her clients enjoy her powerful mix of legal experience and pragmatism as applied to early-stage ventures that she acquired as a practitioner in a large, nationally-recognized, firm and has honed in a smaller boutique environment most suitable to her clientele. Maria also advises investors investing in life sciences and technology companies and brings the same tool kit of experience and pragmatism to help those clients execute on their investment goals. As a natural outgrowth of her early-stage practice, Maria advises companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions and various capital markets offerings, including de-SPAC transactions.
