Los Angeles – May 5, 2025: Crowell & Moring partners Agustin D. Orozco and Jennie Wang VonCannon have been named to the LA Times Studios’ 2025 list of Legal Visionaries. The list spotlights the “best and brightest in a large and highly competitive world of Southern California professionals” who demonstrate outstanding commitment to their practice, their firm, and the community.

London – April 15, 2025: Emma Wright, a market leading lawyer representing prominent technology companies and governments on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, has joined Crowell & Moring U.K. LLP as a partner in its Privacy and Cybersecurity Group in London. Wright will advise clients on regulatory matters and complex technology procurements with a regulatory or government interface.

Washington – March 7, 2025: The Burton Awards honored Crowell & Moring partner Joanna Rosen Forster, counsel Jacob Canter and Derick D. Dailey, and associate Matt Menezes with Law360’s Distinguished Legal Writing Award for their article discussing a Supreme Court ruling and its impact on social media companies. The award will be presented at a gala reception at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. on Monday, May 19.

Washington – February 18, 2025: Chambers and Partners has ranked 12 Crowell & Moring practice groups and 17 individual lawyers in the Chambers Global 2025 guide.

San Francisco – January 6, 2025: The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) elected Crowell & Moring’s Jacob Canter to the Barristers Club Board of Directors. The Barristers Club is a community of BASF attorneys in their first 10 years of practice, as well as law students.

Crowell & Moring elected 12 new partners effective January 1, 2025. The firm also promoted four lawyers to the senior counsel and 25 associates to counsel.
