Crowell & Moring’s Warrington Parker and Jacob Canter to Serve on BASF’s Justice & Diversity Center Board of Directors

San Francisco – January 28, 2026: The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) has appointed Crowell & Moring’s Warrington Parker to the Board of Directors of its Justice & Diversity Center (JDC), effective Jan. 1, 2026. Jacob Canter will continue his active service with BASF, joining the JDC Board Audit Committee in addition to his ongoing role as Secretary of BASF’s Barristers Club Board of Directors. Both attorneys bring extensive experience and dedication to advancing BASF’s mission to support the legal community and expand access to justice throughout the Bay Area.
Parker, managing partner of Crowell’s San Francisco office, is a first-chair trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor. He is recognized for his strategic approach to complex litigation and dedication to promoting excellence and integrity in the legal field. He has successfully tried over 20 cases encompassing a diverse range of civil and criminal matters, such as securities fraud, money laundering, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, copyright, trade secret, violation of California bond measures statutes, product liability, product defect, and breach of contract.
Canter is a counsel in Crowell’s Litigation and Privacy and Cybersecurity groups, based in San Francisco. His practice focuses on technology and competition litigation as it relates to intellectual property, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the Biometric Information Privacy Act, state privacy laws, contracts, and licensing. His counseling practice focuses on compliance with state, federal, and international privacy laws; technology licensing; and cybersecurity incident response.
The JDC Board of Directors plays a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s pro bono legal services, educational programming, and diversity efforts that benefit San Francisco’s legal and broader communities.
