Crowell & Moring’s Laura Foggan Named to Benchmark Litigation’s 2022 “Top 250 Women in Litigation” List

Washington – August 8, 2022: Benchmark Litigation has named Crowell & Moring’s Laura Foggan to its “Top 250 Women in Litigation” list for the eighth consecutive year. The list recognizes “the most distinguished women in the world of litigation… [who] all share the distinction of being recognized as top players in their respective fields.”

Foggan is a partner in Crowell & Moring's Washington, D.C. office and chair of the firm's Insurance/Reinsurance Group. Laura represents clients in a variety of litigation and counseling matters, including counseling insurers and reinsurers on strategic opportunities, litigation trends, and emerging risks such as COVID-19, autonomous vehicles and drones, privacy and cyberliability, global warming, internet-of-things, artificial intelligence, and utilization of blockchain or distributed-ledger technology.

She also serves as national coordinating counsel and lead litigation counsel in a wide range of complex insurance matters, such as coverage disputes involving rescission, additional insureds, allocation, exhaustion, the duty to defend, settlement obligations, policy conditions and exclusions. Foggan represents insurers in significant first and third-party coverage matters, including bad faith and extra-contractual claims.
