Charlene Sun is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Orange County office and is a member of the firm’s Antitrust & Competition Group.
Charlene’s practice involves counseling clients on a wide range of antitrust issues, including identifying and coordinating foreign merger control filings and evaluating and advising on competitive issues associated with mergers and acquisitions. Charlene has also represented Fortune 500 companies as plaintiffs in antitrust recovery actions across a number of industries.
While Charlene was in law school, she served as an editor of the UC Irvine Law Review. She participated in various pro bono projects, which included work on cases concerning asylum, bankruptcy, and domestic violence. Charlene was also a research assistant to Professor Kenneth Simons, where she researched issues related to the drafting of the Restatement of the Law Third, Tort: Intentional Torts to Persons.
Charlene also serves as co-chair of the LGBTQ + Affinity group, where she focuses on promoting equity, inclusion, and opportunity within the firm.
