This conference marks the first anniversary of the revised EU Action Plan Against Wildlife Trafficking, created in 2016, which provided for a framework for European countries to implement regulations regarding legal trade in wildlife within the EU. Discussion panels at this event include topics regarding enforcement challenges in source and consumer countries, and EU legislation and illegally sourced wildlife. Speakers in this event include EUROPOL, EcoJust, a former member of the Convention in International Trade in Endangered Species Act (CITES) Secretariat, and former enforcement personnel.

In this webinar, we will start with a general overview of the AI Act, the first horizontal legislation worldwide to regulate the safety of AI-systems, before moving to a few focal points.

After the first anniversary of Belgium's whistleblower legislation, it is time to take a look at the state of play. The legislation now applies to both "large" companies (250+ employees) and "medium" (50+ employees). Therefore, all these companies today must have an internal reporting channel, as well as a whistleblowing policy at the company level.
