The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Crowell & Moring partner Kent B. Goss to its 2025 Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys list. The list recognizes the top litigation lawyers in the Los Angeles region who have achieved outstanding professional successes and contributions to the community.

Washington – June 5, 2025: Crowell & Moring earned 80 rankings for 71 lawyers, as well as 43 national and statewide practice area rankings, in the Chambers USA 2025 guide. The rankings are driven by independent interviews of clients and lawyers at peer firms.

San Francisco – May 30, 2025: The Daily Journal has named Crowell & Moring’s Kristin Madigan as a Top Woman Lawyer in California in 2025. The annual list celebrates “excellence, impact, and leadership across the legal profession” and recognizes the top 100 women lawyers practicing in California. Elizabeth Hecker, former acting deputy chief and special litigation counsel in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division’s Appellate Section, has joined Crowell & Moring as senior counsel in the Litigation Group. Hecker brings more than two decades of experience leading litigation in the federal court of appeals, with a focus on cases involving education and matters related to Title IV, Title VI, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.

Washington – May 1, 2025: Crowell & Moring’s International Dispute Resolution Group has earned a spot in the 18^th edition of Global Arbitration Review's GAR 100, a guide to the top 100 law firms with international arbitration capabilities. GAR is one of the leading journals of public and private arbitration.

Chicago – April 23, 2024: Laura Lydigsen, co-chair of Crowell & Moring’s Intellectual Property Department, and Jason Stiehl, managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office, have been named to Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2025 list of Notable Litigators & Trial Attorneys. The list features 92 attorneys shaping Chicago's legal landscape from high-stakes litigation to precedent-setting appellate rulings.

New York – March 25, 2025: Crain’s New York Business named Crowell & Moring partner Sarah Gilbert to its Notable Litigators and Trial Attorneys 2025 list. The honorees named by the publication “are a talented cohort, shaping precedent and advocating for their clients across industries and issues.
