This conference marks the first anniversary of the revised EU Action Plan Against Wildlife Trafficking, created in 2016, which provided for a framework for European countries to implement regulations regarding legal trade in wildlife within the EU. Discussion panels at this event include topics regarding enforcement challenges in source and consumer countries, and EU legislation and illegally sourced wildlife. Speakers in this event include EUROPOL, EcoJust, a former member of the Convention in International Trade in Endangered Species Act (CITES) Secretariat, and former enforcement personnel.

For our next Crowell Café, WLI would like to open the debate on the state of ambition. We will have discussions under the auspices of interesting, engaging and yes, even ambitious people about topics like recognition, work-life balance and company culture. We would be delighted to welcome you alongside speakers like Olivia Borlée (former athlete and Olympic gold medalist), Katrin Swartenbroux (journalist and author), Piet Den Boer (former football player and G-sport ambassador) and Jennifer Vander Putten (European Delegated Prosecutor) to share experiences and learn from each other.
