WBJ Selects George Ruttinger as a Top Washington Lawyer Finalist

Washington, D.C. – August 3, 2006: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that the Washington Business Journal has selected George D. Ruttinger as a finalist in their search for the 2006 Top Washington Lawyers. From a pool of more than 400 nominations, Ruttinger was chosen as one of three finalists in the Government Contracts category for his work on WMATA litigation, relating to the construction of Metro's Green Line, that spanned 15 years and ended in March 2006 with a successful judgment of over $40 million for our client.

Ruttinger, chair of the firm's Government Contracts Group, specializes in contract litigation and counseling, including disputes arising out of supply, construction and service contracts. He has represented clients in state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, minitrials, mediations, and federal administrative agencies. Ruttinger also has expertise in complex multi-district litigation of antitrust and tort claims.
