Crowell & Moring Litigation Group Co-Chair Jennifer Romano Named to Los Angeles Business Journal's 2018 List of "Most Influential Women Attorneys"

Los Angeles – May 17, 2018: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that partner Jennifer S. Romano, co-chair of the firm’s Litigation Group and member of the firm’s Management Board, has been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2018 list of “Most Influential Women Attorneys.” The list recognizes 75 female lawyers for exceptional legal skill and achievement, exemplary leadership, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.

The publication highlighted the high-stakes litigation practice that Romano has built defending companies against consumer class actions and other commercial litigation. Her long track record of success, particularly in the health care space, includes representing clients in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration and mediation. Among her clients are major health care plans and professional services firms.

Romano’s recent accomplishments include first-chairing a three-week class action bench trial in federal court for an ongoing case related to fiduciary duties and other obligations under ERISA. Additionally, as a strong advocate for the advancement of women in the legal profession, Romano has previously served as President of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA). She now serves as a board member and chair of strategic planning for the WLALA Foundation.
