Crowell & Moring Adds Antitrust and Competition Senior Counsel Ryan Marth in Minneapolis

Minneapolis – June 30, 2026: Crowell & Moring has added experienced antitrust senior counsel Ryan Marth to the Antitrust and Competition Group in Minneapolis. Marth will advise clients on complex antitrust litigation, opt-out plaintiff recovery, and cross-border transactional and regulatory matters. 

Marth brings more than two decades of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex antitrust litigation. At Crowell, he will draw on his extensive class action experience to lead direct-action affirmative recovery litigation for corporate clients who have been harmed by competitors, suppliers, and strategic partners.

Marth will also advise international clients on cross-border transactions, regulatory matters, and litigation, with a focus on U.S.-transatlantic matters involving clients from the Nordic region. 

Marth is the second antitrust litigator to join the firm this year, following the arrival of partner  William Reiss, who joined the New York office in February.  

Since opening last month, Crowell’s Minneapolis office now has nine lawyers practicing in regulatory, enforcement, and litigation, in areas including health care, labor and employment, and antitrust.

Chambers USA ranked Marth as a leading Antitrust lawyer in Minnesota. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School, studied as a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Oslo, and earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from St. Olaf College. Marth previously served as a law clerk to Hon. Helen M. Meyer of the Minnesota Supreme Court. He is fluent in Norwegian.
