Federal Judge Clears Way for AT&T-Time Warner Merger

Washington – June 15, 2018: Crowell & Moring LLP congratulates our longstanding client AT&T on its landmark trial victory over the Justice Department, which cleared the way for the telecommunications company to complete its $85 billion purchase of Time Warner. U.S. District Court Judge Richard J. Leon ruled on Tuesday, and AT&T closed the deal last night.
Crowell & Moring has represented AT&T for over two decades in this and other transactions as regulatory counsel before the DOJ Antitrust Division, and is proud to be part of the successful litigation team representing AT&T in this case.
