Washington – April 9, 2026: Crowell & Moring’s International Dispute Resolution Group has again earned a spot in the 19th edition of Global Arbitration Review's GAR 100, a guide to the top 100 law firms with international arbitration capabilities. GAR is one of the leading journals of public and private arbitration.
The publication highlighted the group’s growing global reach and deep bench, with the international arbitration team spanning Washington, New York, London, Brussels, and Doha. Notable leadership transitions included Meagan Bachman’s appointment as head of the disputes group. The group comprises lawyers from across industries and geographic regions, representing clients in disputes arising under international and bilateral trade agreements and treaties, with experience spanning every major arbitral institution.
GAR’s selection of Crowell highlighted feedback that the firm “consistently delivers exceptional results” and is “second to none” in disputes expertise in major infrastructure projects. Clients continue to speak highly of Crowell’s international disputes team, describing the team as, “very easy to deal with, very client oriented and very competent,” and many highlighted partner Ian Laird and counsel Ashley Riveira, calling them “very hard working.” Another client praised the firm’s “mastery of international arbitration rules and procedures” and the “tremendous written and oral advocacy” of Laird and New York partner Randa Adra.
While some firms focus solely on international arbitration, Crowell takes a more comprehensive view of international disputes, delivering end-to-end advice on the full range of business and governmental disputes worldwide, including: global international commercial and investment arbitrations; international litigation; pre-dispute counseling on investment decisions, dispute resolution clauses, and geopolitical approaches to resolving disputes; and litigation to challenge or enforce arbitral awards.
The annual survey ranks the world’s leading large and small arbitration practices and assesses firms’ reputation, amount of work undertaken, and experience through researchers’ audits. To read the firm’s GAR 100 profile, click here.
