Appleseed: Celebrating the Power of Making A Difference
October 2, 2008
Appleseed, a non-profit network of 16 public interest justice centers in the U.S. and Mexico, will proudly host its fall fundraising event, “Celebrating the Power of Making a Difference,” at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center in Washington, DC. The President-elect of the American Bar Association, Carolyn Lamm, will be emcee for the event and will give concluding remarks. We are honored to have Walter Dellinger as our keynote speaker, the former Solicitor General and Assistant Attorney General, Office of Legal Counsel, of the United States, who currently chairs the Appellate Practice at O’Melveny and Myers.
This year's honorees are Appleseed Board member Philip Spector, Executive Vice President for Business Development and General Counsel of Intelsat, WilmerHale, and LexisNexis.
Robert Lipstein is one of the co-chairs and Crowell & Moring is a sponsor.
