Jared Levine is a counsel in the Litigation Group at Crowell & Moring's New York office.
Jared's practice focuses on complex litigation at both the trial and appellate levels, with an emphasis on commercial disputes arising from financial transactions, post-closing merger and asset sale disputes, business torts, shareholder litigation, consumer class actions, product liability and false advertising claims, and white collar civil defense.
Jared appears regularly in state and federal trial courts, as well as commercial arbitrations, where he represents clients from a broad range of industries, including investment banks, private equity firms, auto manufacturers, health insurers, commodity and securities trading companies, retail restaurant chains, and software developers.
Jared also devotes a substantial portion of his practice to pro bono litigation and has represented dozens of individuals in immigration proceedings, employment disputes, criminal appeals, and landlord-tenant litigation. In November 2020, the National Law Journal named Jared to its list of 2020 Immigration Law Trailblazer for his work on behalf of victims of the Trump Administration’s family separation policy.
Jared also currently serves as the Impact Litigation Fellow at the non-profit Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation, where he focuses on representing low income tenants in impact litigation designed to expand access to affordable rent stabilized housing in New York City.
Jared was a class valedictorian and the recipient of the Saul Tischler Memorial Award, the Harry A. Moore Prize, and the Rutgers Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award for International Law. While in law school, Jared was elected co-chair of the Rutgers Moot Court Board while also serving as a judicial intern to the Honorable Dickinson R. Debevoise, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Honorable Delissa Ridgway, U.S. Court of International Trade.
