Crowell’s Denver office is dedicated to making an impact in our community. More than half of our Denver office lawyers provide more than 45 hours of pro bono service per year, including working with Colorado Innocence Project. Since our office opening in October 2021, our lawyers and professional staff have volunteered in our community, served on local non-profit boards, and given to organizations like ACLU, Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, Denver Urban Debate League, InteRoots, Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado, Girl Scouts of Colorado, Colorado Legal Services, American Heart Association, Colorado Center on Law and Policy, Florence Crittenton, Special Olympics of Colorado, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, and National Park Trust.
Our Denver office is committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within our team and the broader legal community. We work with organizations such as:
- Center for Legal Inclusiveness, which serves the community by actively educating and supporting private and public sector legal organizations in their own individual campaigns to create cultures of inclusion;
- Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, which is committed to the advancement of the Colorado Hispanic community by expanding the number of Latinos in the legal profession;
- Colorado Pledge to Diversity, a paid summer clerkship program created for 1L diverse law students;
- Colorado Women’s Bar Association, whose mission is to promote the advancement of women in the law and harness the power of the legal profession to protect and promote the welfare of all women; and
- Latinas First Foundation, which is a critical Colorado support network for Latinas that has provided over 200 scholarships, as well as mentorship and networking opportunities, and honors Colorado Latina Trailblazers and Unsung Heroines.
