Cecilia Lahaye is a counsel in Crowell & Moring’s Brussels office and an experienced member of the Labor and Employment Group. She advises and litigates on a wide array of employment and social security law related matters, representing clients in all manner of work disputes, including those relating to discrimination, unfair dismissal, psychosocial risks, and benefits and pay.

Representative Matters
- Advised and represented a client from the maritime sector in Belgian labour courts with respect to various disputes about discriminatory behavior and unfair dismissal;
- Advised and co-represented a multinational company on the social security treatment of restricted stock units;
- Represented a client from the food sector on disputes regarding discrimination and various psychosocial risks at work with potential criminal implications;
- Represented clients from various sectors on internal investigations and ultimately dismissal for serious cause of employees on account of criminal activities;
- Assisted tech start-ups on various queries on hiring and setting up of businesses in Belgium.
