Washington – Feb. 11, 2025: Crowell & Moring’s Privacy & Cybersecurity Group has added two seasoned in-house counsel to their leading privacy team. Rita Heimes, former general counsel for the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and Justin B. Weiss, former associate general counsel for global technology investor Naspers, join the firm as senior counsel in Washington, D.C. Weiss will also serve as senior director at Crowell Global Advisors.

Washington, DC - Jan. 21, 2025 - Today, Crowell Global Advisors (CGA) announced that Dr. Monica Gorman, a senior White House official under former President Joe Biden, has joined CGA as a managing director. Gorman brings over 20 years of policy and executive management experience across public and commercial supply chains, international trade, compliance, and sustainability.

The global dialogue on the future of AI development and deployment will crash onto India’s shores in early 2026. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will convene the India - AI Impact Summit on 19 – 20 February 2026, the latest in a series of global AI summits that have been held in the U.K., France, Korea, and, Rwanda.
