Washington – January 15, 2025: Crowell & Moring has published Litigation Forecast 2025: What Corporate Counsel Need to Know for the Coming Year. The 13th-annual Litigation Forecast focuses on the proliferation of class action lawsuits that have increasingly higher stakes, larger class sizes, and greater exposure for companies in a range of areas. The report explores new class action developments in artificial intelligence, antitrust, consumer products, health care, and more.

Washington – January 10, 2025: Crowell & Moring has received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2025 Corporate Equality Index, the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. Crowell joins the 765 U.S. businesses that will be honored with HRCF’s Equality 100 Award as Leaders in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion, marking the 14th consecutive year that the firm has earned 100 percent on the Corporate Equality Index.

Denver – January 10, 2025: 5280 Magazine has named Meshach Rhoades, managing partner of Crowell & Moring’s Denver office, to its 2025 list of Denver’s Top Lawyers in the Commercial Litigation category. The 11th annual list features the best attorneys in the region, based on recommendations from peers and follow-up reporting.

San Francisco – January 6, 2025: The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) elected Crowell & Moring’s Jacob Canter to the Barristers Club Board of Directors. The Barristers Club is a community of BASF attorneys in their first 10 years of practice, as well as law students.

Crowell & Moring elected 12 new partners effective January 1, 2025. The firm also promoted four lawyers to the senior counsel and 25 associates to counsel.

Kenneth Dintzer, a leading Department of Justice litigator for more than 30 years, has joined Crowell & Moring as a partner in the firm’s Antitrust and Competition, Government Contracts, and Litigation groups.

Washington – December 9, 2024: Securities Docket has named Thomas A. Hanusik, a partner in Crowell & Moring’s White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement Group, to its “Enforcement Elite” list for 2024. The list identifies the best securities enforcement defense lawyers in the industry and includes key players in some of the most significant SEC enforcement matters over the past few decades. According to the publication, the “Enforcement Elite” are “the lawyers you would turn to if you, your company or a family member were faced with an important SEC enforcement matter.”

Crowell & Moring U.K. LLP won the award for “Best Contribution to LawWorks Not-For-Profits Program” in LawWorks’ 2024 Pro Bono Awards. The awards “celebrate the best legal pro bono activities undertaken by organizations and individuals and the positive impact they have had on those helped.”
