Bar Association of San Francisco Names Jacob Canter to Barristers Club Board of Directors

San Francisco – January 6, 2025: The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) elected Crowell & Moring’s Jacob Canter to the Barristers Club Board of Directors. The Barristers Club is a community of BASF attorneys in their first 10 years of practice, as well as law students.

Canter is a counsel in Crowell’s Litigation and Privacy and Cybersecurity groups. His practice focuses on technology and competition litigation as it relates to intellectual property, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the Biometric Information Privacy Act, state privacy laws, contracts, and licensing. His counseling practice focuses on compliance with state, federal, and international privacy laws; technology licensing; and cybersecurity incident response.

Canter was also recently appointed the PrivacyConnect San Francisco chapter chair by PrivacyConnect by OneTrust, where he will build meaningful connections with leading privacy, security, and governance experts.
