Washington – January 4, 2021: Crowell & Moring elected nine lawyers to the firm’s partnership, effective January 1, 2021. The firm also promoted 18 associates to the position of counsel. Washington – December 18, 2020: Global Competition Review ranked Crowell & Moring’s Antitrust & Competition Group in its annual “GCR 100” – the leading ranking of the world’s competition policy law and economics practices. This year marks the 21st edition of the awards and the 14th consecutive year that the Antitrust & Competition Group has been recognized.

New York – October 2, 2020: The Deal named the merger of United Technologies Corporation and The Raytheon Company as the “Deal of the Year” and the “Energy & Industrials Deal of the Year” at The Deal Awards 2020. Crowell & Moring is among the firms recognized for its role in the merger.

Washington – December 9, 2019: Crowell & Moring has launched a special multi-disciplinary team to advise clients reacting and responding to the Department of Justice’s new Procurement Collusion Strike Force (PCSF) – a multiagency initiative to detect and punish antitrust crimes in the government procurement, grant, and program funding arenas.

Washington – November 5, 2019: Crowell & Moring’s White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement Group has been named to the Global Investigation Review’s 2019 “GIR 100” list, which honors the world’s leading firms for corporate investigations. Washington, D.C. - September 25, 2015: Crowell & Moring's longtime Antitrust Group client United Technologies Corporation received U.S. antitrust clearance for its sale of Sikorsky Aircraft to Lockheed Martin Corp. The Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice declined to issue a Second Request in connection with the $9 billion transaction, concluding the U.S. regulatory review. Sikorsky is the manufacturer of numerous civil and military helicopters, including the Black Hawk and Marine One.
