Los Angeles – November 30, 2023:  The Daily Journal has named Crowell & Moring partner Jason C. Murray to its 2023 list of “Top Antitrust Lawyers.” The award recognizes California’s “best attorneys that focus on matters such [as] unfair competition and price-fixing.”

Murray is co-chair of the firm's Antitrust & Competition Group and former head of the Los Angeles office. His practice focuses primarily on antitrust litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants; antitrust counseling and defense in connection with state attorneys general, DOJ, and Federal Trade Commission investigations; and business advice on avoiding antitrust risks in transactions, distribution practices, and competitor collaborations. He has handled a wide variety of litigation and antitrust counseling, with a particular emphasis on antitrust cartel litigation and monopolization and exclusive dealing cases for companies in the health care, technology, transportation, entertainment, and telecommunications areas, among others.

The Daily Journal recognized Murray for his work as a health care antitrust lawyer, including in a significant multidistrict litigation involving generic pharmaceutical drugs. The publication also noted Murray’s role on the board of trustees for a Maori trust in his birth country of New Zealand and his work as the chairman of the board of Volunteers of America, Los Angeles.
