Washington, D.C. – June 24, 2015: Crowell & Moring is pleased to announce that its Brussels Intellectual Property Group has again been featured in the gold category of the Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) 1000 - The World's Leading Patent Practitioners guide. IAM also named Brussels partners Kristof Roox and Jan-Diederik Lindemans as leaders in their practice area. The IAM rankings are based on interviews with in-house counsel and peer firms and highlight top practitioners in key jurisdictions around the globe who are deemed outstanding in their areas.
The guide describes the Brussels IP team as "well-versed in regulatory and competition law," noting that "precedent-setting litigation is the order of the day." Pointing to the firm's pharmaceutical litigation and landmark litigation victories, IAM notes that the team in Brussels "also has an affinity for the fine print of contracts and licenses." Additionally, the guide highlights the team's "appreciation of how best to protect know-how and prevent the misappropriation of trade secrets."
Brussels partner and office head Kristof Roox is individually ranked and cited as a lawyer who "takes the bull by the horns and really argues the substance of the case." Brussels partner Jan-Diederik Lindemans makes his debut in the guide this year.
