Los Angeles – December 10, 2025: Crowell & Moring partner Jennie Wang VonCannon has been named to the Daily Journal’s 2025 Top White Collar Lawyers list. The annual list recognizes “California’s most influential and effective white collar defense practitioners of the year.”

Doha, Qatar – December 9, 2025: Crowell & Moring was recently named Arbitration Team of the Year at the LexisNexis Middle East Qatar Business Law Forum 10th anniversary gala dinner and awards ceremony. The award comes on the heels of another major recognition for Crowell’s International Dispute Group in Doha, which was also named Arbitration Law Firm of the Year 2025 by Thomson Reuters’ Asian Legal Business Middle East Law Awards in October. 

Washington – December 5, 2025: Crowell & Moring's Lauren Fleming has been named the 2025 DC Family Law Volunteer of the Year by Volunteer Legal Advocates (VLA), formerly known as DCVLP. This award honors Fleming's exceptional contributions to VLA’s mission to end the cycle of violence by providing pro bono legal services for survivors of domestic violence and at-risk children.

Washington – December 3, 2025: Law360 has named David Chung, co-chair of Crowell & Moring’s Environment and Natural Resources Practice Group, an MVP of the Year in Environmental Law. The award recognizes attorneys who have set themselves apart through significant achievements in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters, and record-breaking deals.

San Francisco – December 2, 2025: Crowell & Moring represented Antares, an advanced nuclear energy startup building a small modular nuclear reactor, in connection with its $96 million Series B funding round.

Chicago – December 2, 2025: Building on continued momentum and expansion in Chicago, Crowell & Moring has moved into new office space at 300 N. LaSalle in the River North neighborhood. The firm will occupy 48,966 fully renovated square feet across two floors of the 60-story landmark tower. The move comes on the heels of recent growth in Crowell’s Chicago office, including the addition of 25 health care attorneys in August.

Washington – December 2, 2025: Crowell & Moring’s Antitrust and Competition Group has been recognized as one of “the world’s best competition practices” by Global Competition Review’s 2026 “GCR 100.” GCR ranked Crowell as “recommended” in California, Washington, D.C., and both the Belgium and Brussels categories. Los Angeles – November 24, 2025: The International Employment Lawyer (IEL) named Crowell & Moring partner Nicole Janigian Simonian as its Global Mobility Lawyer of the Year. In addition to Simonian’s individual recognition, Crowell was shortlisted in the Global Mobility Team of the Year category. The awards ceremony was held Nov. 19 at the Savoy Hotel in London.

Brussels – November 12, 2025: Aubry Daerden has joined Crowell & Moring’s Brussels office as a partner in the Corporate Group, expanding the firm’s capability to represent clients on complex Belgian and EU corporate transactions.

London – November 11, 2025: Computer Weekly has named Emma Wright, co-chair of Crowell & Moring’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Group, to its “50 Most Influential Women in UK Tech” list for 2025. The annual list recognizes women who are driving innovation and leadership within the UK technology sector.

 San Francisco – November 5, 2025: Crowell & Moring represented Farcast, a San Francisco-based startup pioneering advanced satellite User Terminals, in connection with an expanded commercial relationship and a $5 million equity investment from Telesat (Nasdaq and TSX: TSAT), one of the world’s largest and most innovative satellite operators. Under the agreement, Telesat will also appoint a member of the Farcast board of directors to support the company’s alignment with the strategic goals of the Telesat Lightspeed program.

Chicago – October 29, 2025: Crowell & Moring secured a complete dismissal with prejudice of a proposed class action suit on behalf of Mondelēz, LLC in the Northern District of Illinois.

Doha – October 28, 2025: Thomson Reuters’ Asian Legal Business has named Crowell & Moring the “Arbitration Law Firm of the Year” at the Middle East Law Awards.

Los Angeles – October 27, 2025: The Daily Journal has named Crowell & Moring’s Jordan Ludwig to its “Top 40 Under 40” list for 2025. The annual list recognizes leading California lawyers under the age of 40.

New York – October 9, 2025: Crowell & Moring represented Möbius Industries, a pioneer in “urban mining,” in a $3.8 million pre-seed funding round. The financing was led by Outlander VC, with participation from Mana Ventures, GoAhead, Entropy Industrial, EWOR, E14, Plug and Play, Thursday Ventures, and a group of strategic angel investors.
