Jared Levine is a counsel in the Commercial Litigation Group at Crowell & Moring's New York office.

Jared's practice focuses on a variety of complex commercial matters before state and federal courts, including post-closing merger disputes, shareholder litigation, class actions, business torts, product liability claims, finder/broker fee agreements, and assertions of alter-ego/veil piercing liability. Jared appears regularly in New York and New Jersey trial courts and has obtained dozens of successful rulings on dispositive motions and motions for injunctive relief. Jared is also a highly experienced appellate attorney who regularly handles high stakes appeals in state and federal appellate jurisdictions throughout the country.

In addition to his commercial work, Jared is also a deeply committed pro bono attorney and regularly represents charities, individuals, and non-governmental organizations in immigration proceedings, employment disputes, and criminal appeals. Between 2013 and 2015, Jared received three consecutive Pro Bono Publico Awards from the Legal Aid Society for his work on behalf of several individuals who were unlawfully denied employment with the New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) on the basis of their prior criminal histories.

Jared graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers School of Law in 2010, where he was the recipient of the Saul Tischler Memorial Award, the Harry A. Moore Prize, and the Rutgers Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award for International Law. While in law school, Jared was elected co-chair of the Rutgers Moot Court Board and president of the Human Rights Forum.

He also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Dickinson R. Debevoise, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Honorable Delissa Ridgway, U.S. Court of International Trade.

Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Jared worked with nonprofit organizations focused on international development and conflict resolution. In 2008, he was the recipient of a Rutgers Public Interest Law Foundation Summer Grant for his work with the United Nations Global Compact, a United Nations program focusing on corporate social responsibility and private sector engagement.
