The New York Law Journal Names Partner Ilana Lubin a Rising Star

New York – October 24, 2019 – The New York Law Journal recognized Ilana Lubin as a 2019 “Rising Star” at the New York Legal Awards ceremony on Wednesday at Tribeca 360 in New York. The award honors the region’s most promising lawyers, age 40 and younger, who have “established a record of accomplishments and demonstrated that they are top contributors to the practice of law and their communities.”

Lubin, a partner in the firm’s New York office and a member of the firm's Corporate and Advertising & Media groups, advises companies across a wide range of industries on domestic and cross-border M&A and joint venture transactions. She also frequently counsels clients on other strategic corporate and commercial matters, including intellectual property license agreements, international distribution and supply agreements, and marketing and advertising agreements.

The publication notes that Lubin is “regarded for her focus in the fashion, retail, luxury, and beauty sectors, where she helps clients maximize celebrity, entertainment, and corporate brand value, most notably through her representation of Global Brands Group in connection with its joint ventures with David Beckham, Katy Perry, and Creative Artists Agency. Lubin’s in-depth knowledge of the businesses of retailers, consumer products companies, and brand owners make her a go-to strategic advisor managing the provision of solutions across practice areas, including intellectual property, advertising and sponsorships, tax, bankruptcy, consumer product safety and toxic torts, employment and labor, trade, and commercial litigation.”
