DEAL NOTE: Crowell & Moring Client Georgetown University Enters Into Power Purchase Agreement with Origis Energy USA

Washington – September 27, 2017: Crowell & Moring LLP represented Georgetown University in a power purchase agreement with Origis Energy USA to develop a 32.5-megawatt solar power system. The solar facility is expected to generate approximately 75,000 megawatt hours of power each year and provide 49 percent of Georgetown’s electricity load for campus operations located in Washington, D.C.

Pending approval from the Maryland Public Service Commission and local permitting, the off-site solar facility will be constructed in La Plata, Maryland.
