Crowell & Moring Ranks 38th in Multicultural Law Magazine's "Top 100 Law Firms for Diversity"

Washington, D.C. – May 23, 2005: Crowell & Moring has been ranked 38th in Multicultural Law Magazine's "Top 100 Law Firms for Diversity." To determine law firm rankings, surveys were sent to law firms on the American Bar Association's list of those firms with over 100 people. Published in the 2005 edition of the magazine, Crowell & Moring also ranked 13th in the "2005 Top 50 Law Firms for Associates," 18th in the "2005 Top 25 Law Firms for Disabled Americans" and 21st in the "2005 Top 50 Law Firms for Women."
With over 25,000 readers, Multicultural Law Magazine is a yearly publication which highlights successful minority and women lawyers.
The news comes as Crowell & Moring has engaged in several efforts to promote diversity. These efforts include the launch of a $25,000 scholarship to promote diversity in the legal profession and hosting of a firm speaker series to celebrate diversity. Crowell & Moring has also entered into a special relationship with Howard University Law School by funding two public service summer internships for Howard law students and by supplying Crowell & Moring lawyers to serve as judges for moot court competitions at Howard.
