Crowell & Moring Lawyers Author Chapter in Global Arbitration Review’s The Guide to Construction Arbitration

Firm News | 2 min read | 08.22.25

New York – August 22, 2025: Crowell & Moring lawyers Randa Adra, Joshua Lindsay, Edmund Northcott, and Evelien Van Espen authored a chapter in the sixth edition of Global Arbitration Review’s The Guide to Construction Arbitration. Their chapter explores the allocation of risk in construction contracts, including covering issues like cost overruns, design errors, unforeseen conditions, and delays.

The authors, who are all members of Crowell’s International Dispute Resolution Group from across the New York, Washington, D.C., London, and Brussels offices, demonstrate their grasp of every aspect of construction counseling. They provide advice across the life cycle of a matter from the contract counseling phase to resolving disputes, each bringing a unique perspective of where they sit globally, but still able to collaborate across offices seamlessly.

Organizations with cross-border interests routinely turn to the International Dispute Resolution Group for end-to-end advice on the full range of business and governmental disputes worldwide, including in construction matters. From commercial and investor state arbitration to litigation and beyond, the authors of this chapter have the legal skills and firsthand knowledge of international markets, local business and legal customs, venues, cultures, and languages necessary to resolve complex and high-stakes disputes across the globe.

The full chapter is available on Global Arbitration Review’s website.
