Brussels – June 23, 2020: Emmanuel Plasschaert, partner and head of Crowell & Moring’s Brussels Corporate, Commercial & Employment practices, has been elected to serve as vice president (“dauphin”) of the Brussels Bar.

“I would like to thank my colleagues in the Bar who have placed their trust in me, and congratulate all of the outstanding candidates,” Plasschaert said. “There are challenges that lie ahead for us all, and I will be at your side to address them together.”

Plasschaert advises clients on individual and collective labor law, international employment, HR data protection and privacy issues, and corporate transactions and restructurings. He is also a seasoned litigator. He was one of the first to represent a client in class action proceedings in Belgium. Plasschaert has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 1993.
