Washington, D.C. – May 5, 2016: Crowell & Moring LLP is proud to announce that Chahira Solh, a partner in Crowell & Moring’s Antitrust Group, has been selected as a member of the 2016 Fellows Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), a national organization comprised of the legal profession’s top general counsels and law firm managing partners. Additionally, associates Diana T. Huang and Agustin D. Orozco have been selected to the LCLD’s inaugural Pathfinders class, a program designed to train early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including programming on leadership and network development.

“We are excited to continue our engagement with the LCLD Fellows Program, and begin a new chapter with the Pathfinders program this year,” said Crowell & Moring managing partner Ellen M. Dwyer, who is a member of the LCLD Board of Directors. “Chahira, Diana, and Agustin are excellent representatives for the firm in a group of outstanding legal talent that will be the industry’s next generation of leaders.”

Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 240 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a truly diverse legal profession. The LCLD Pathfinder Program was piloted last year among a select number of LCLD Member law firms and corporations. It is an initiative that has filled a gap in LCLD programming, targeting junior associates and the youngest members of corporate law departments.

Crowell & Moring's past participants in the Fellows program include: Washington, D.C.-based Corporate partner Karen Hermann; San Francisco-based Antitrust partner Beatrice Nguyen; Washington, D.C.-based Antitrust counsel Astor Heaven. Washington, D.C.-based Government Contracts partner Lorraine Campos also participated in the program in 2012. Washington, D.C.-based associate Ashley N. Southerland and New York-based associate Preetha Chakrabarti participated in last year’s Pathfinders program. For more information, visit www.lcldnet.org.
