Crain’s Chicago Business Names Virginia Marino to 2022 “Notable Women in Law” List

Chicago – September 13, 2022: Crain’s Chicago Business has named partner Virginia Wolk Marino to its 2022 “Notable Women in Law” list. The series profiles women lawyers in top roles across Chicago who have handled significant matters, mentored others, and made notable contributions to their communities.

Marino, a partner in Crowell & Moring’s Technology & Brand Protection Group, focuses her practice on brand protection, copyright, and unfair competition law. She represents clients in civil litigation in federal district court and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board oppositions and cancellation actions, and has experience with domain name disputes. In addition, Marino served as co-hiring partner at Brinks, Gilson & Lione, which combined with Crowell in July 2021. At Crowell, Marino serves on the firm’s Strategic Growth Committee, and as Talent and Inclusion partner for the Technology & Brand Protection Group, where she focuses on emphasizing diversity throughout the firm’s ranks.

ILTA Names Alma Asay to 2024 List of Influential Women in Legal Technology

The International Legal Technology Association has named Crowell & Moring’s chief innovation and value officer Alma Asay to its 2024 list of Influential Women in Legal Technology. The annual list honors “outstanding women leaders in the global legal technology community.” Honorees are selected based on their history of mentorship and “level of impact on legal technology.”
