NRF's General Counsels Forum Winter Meeting 2011
January 12, 2011
New York, NY
The National Retail Federation (NRF) will celebrate its 100 years of retail leadership this January 2011 at what has become known as “Retail’s BIG Show.” The event attracts more than 10,000 retailers from around the globe and will take place this year at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City from January 9-12th.
As part of this annual event, the General Counsels Forum Winter Meeting 2011 will take place on Wednesday, January 12th at the Harvard Club in New York. This invitation-only Council is limited to the most senior legal officers among NRF’s retail membership who meet only two to three times each year. Senior legal officers come together to share strategy and ideas for addressing cutting edge legal and management issues of concern to retail law departments, such as alternative dispute resolution, antitrust trends, advertising, benchmarking of legal programs and securities law issues, as well as other matters. Crowell & Moring partner, Bridget Calhoun, has been invited to speak on the topic of “New FTC ‘Green Guides’ for Advertising.”
