International Practice Institute - "International Practice After the Great Credit Crisis of 2008-2009"

The New York State Bar Association's ("NYSBA") International Section presents its first International Practice Institute, a day-long "summit" conference of leading experts in private international law from distinguished New York and international law firms, academic institutions, corporate legal departments, and governmental agencies. The program will consist of panels on pressing international legal issues arising from the Great Credit Crisis of 2008-2009, featuring plenary and breakout sessions on banking, insurance, securities, mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution, insolvency, tax, trust & estates administration and wealth transfer planning, trade, immigration law and the ethics of cross-border legal representation. The event has been designed for experienced lawyers in international as well as domestic practice specialties.
Olivier Antoine is among several panelists who will be discussing the "Effects of Crisis on M&A Activity and Antitrust Policies."
