Doing Business in Saudi Arabia

November 30, 2011 • Washington, D.C.

For the fifth consecutive year, Saudi Arabia was ranked as the best place to do business in the entire Middle East and the Arab World according to the International Finance Corporation (IFC). An increasing number of companies are now looking to establish business operations in the Middle East, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the preferred locations as a result of economic reform and a desire on the part of the Saudi government to attract foreign investment as it seeks to diversify the economy.

Crowell & Moring will be hosting a briefing which will look at some of the initiatives under way in Saudi Arabia to boost diversification and attract foreign investment.

Speakers From:
  • Saudi Economic Council and senior officials from the Saudi Government, who will examine how best to partner with the Saudi Government and some of the opportunities arising from developing a close working relationship.
  • Companies that have already established operations in the Kingdom.
  • Our affiliate Saudi law firm, Al Enizy, who will give their perspective on forthcoming legal developments.
  • Crowell & Moring lawyers from our Middle East team, who will look at some of the legal issues associated with launching or expanding operations in Saudi.
