December 12 - 14, 2007
San Francisco, CA
The Construction SuperConference, now in its 22nd year, is recognized as the preeminent legal construction conference. With the guidance of the Advisory Board and the expertise of past participants and long-time supporters of the conference, the 2007 program provides insight into some of the most complex legal and business issues facing the construction industry. The keynote address will be given by former head of the FBI, Louis Freeh.
This year the conference has been organized into 4 tracks: Legal and Institutional, Business Related Issues, Contracts and Management, and Industry Specific. In addition there are three plenary session presentations, a breakfast session, and, for the first time, "deep dive" workshops. The workshops, offered Friday afternoon, are an opportunity for attendees to get into very interactive sessions that will spend time on very specific and focused topics, strategies, services, or technologies that affect our industry.
Participants will include owners, developers, corporate general counsel, project sponsors, contractors, project managers, attorneys, financial lenders, engineers, government authorities, consultants and architects.
Crowell & Moring’s Randy Erickson, Van Nguyen and Christine Cwiertny will conduct a mock mediation in the breakout session, Constructing Success Through ADR on Thursday Dec. 13 from 3:45-5:00 p.m. Cecelia A Tripi, Esq., of The Law Offices of Cecelia A Tripi, and Sean Conrad, Insurance Broker at Wells Fargo of California Insurances Services, Inc., will also participate in the mock mediation. Alternative dispute resolution is one of the fastest growing methods for resolving conflict in the United States and around the world.
