American Constitution Society for Law and Policy 2006 National Convention
June 15 - 18, 2006
Democracy and the Rule of Law" will be the theme of this year's Convention, which will feature over a dozen federal judges, leading policymakers, practitioners, advocates and scholars. In addition to the compelling speeches and panels featured at past Conventions, this year’s event also will include opportunities to gain insight into litigation strategies and tactics in sessions with leading practitioners, book signings with authors of the latest cutting edge scholarship and numerous chances for lawyers to meet and mentor law students.
Crowell & Moring’s Beth Nolan will be participating in the opening plenary panel entitled "Separation of Powers: Restoring Balance among the Branches." The panel is scheduled for Friday, June 16th, at 9:30 am. Other panelists include Senator Gary Hart; Dean Harold Koh, Yale Law School; Professor Douglas Kmiec, Pepperdine Law School; and Professor Dawn Johnsen, Indiana University Law School.
