ABA - A Conversation About Driverless Vehicles, Regulation & Litigation
August 26, 2014
This teleconference is presented by the Products Liability Committee of the Section of Litigation.
Driverless vehicles are, perhaps literally, around the corner. Many current motor vehicle models already contain certain autonomous features, and news stories abound regarding Google’s driverless cars. The prospect of driving, hands free is one that could herald large changes in the way we live our lives. This Roundtable teleconference will feature a discussion between attorneys who have been following this issue, who will share some thoughts and ideas on how driverless vehicles might impact product liability litigation and motor vehicle regulations in the future.
This Roundtable will feature a discussion between Rebecca Chaney (Crowell & Moring) and Michael A. Preciado (Snell & Wilmer), both previous article contributors to the Products Liability Committee's Automotive Subcommittee. Automotive Subcommittee co-chair Laura Walther will introduce and moderate.
