2013 DRI Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Seminar
February 28-March 1, 2013
New Orleans, LA
This year’s Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Seminar will feature six in-house counsel, three sitting state and federal court judges, and the president and CEO of Virgin America. The program will include an intriguing series of presentations entitled the “Anatomy of a Toxic Tort Trial.” Based on a multi-faceted toxic tort hypothetical, this five-part series will explore various elements of a toxic tort case, from early case evaluation through jury selection. It will include interactive presentations and is designed to provide concrete practice pointers and real-life “take-aways.” Whether this is your first time attending this seminar or your tenth, you will come away from this year’s program with practical “how to” information, insight into scientific principles and disciplines, and new discovery and trial practice skills.
Kevin Mayer will speak on "Taking an "Expert" Expert Deposition." Mr. Mayer is also the moderator on the topic, "Judges, Juries and Scientific Evidence."
