Our Middle East and North Africa (MENA) team provides comprehensive and strategic advice to companies and individuals across the globe on a broad spectrum of matters related to their business in the MENA region, and to MENA-based companies doing business in the US, UK, Europe, and Asia. We advise companies on establishing a legal presence in the region, and assist with transactional, regulatory, intellectual property, investigations, compliance, and policy questions. We offer strategic and legal advice to MENA-based clients doing business in the U.S. and multinationals partnering with domestic companies in the MENA region.  

Crowell & Moring’s Doha office serves as our base in the region. We counsel clients across diverse industry sectors to comply with local and regional laws and regulations, resolve litigation and international disputes, navigate international investigations, and structure, negotiate and close domestic and cross-border transactions. The firm was recognized in 2022 as the International Law Firm of the Year at the LexisNexis Middle East Qatar Business Law Forum” for exceptional achievement within Qatar’s legal community.

Our team has a sophisticated understanding of cultural and political issues in the MENA region and is able to handle matters in English, Arabic, French and Hebrew, among other languages.
