He has also advised a technology company on its commercial agreements with football leagues across multiple European jurisdictions and has counseled clients on the sponsorship of a major football tournament and other sporting events—giving him end-to-end experience across club, rights-holder, and commercial partner mandates.

In the luxury fashion and consumer sector, Sam has assisted clients with joint ventures and distribution arrangements with leading French and Italian fashion houses, brand licensing for international cosmetics and hygiene products manufacturers, and a range of commercial relationships with prominent luxury brands. His technology work includes advising Quantinuum (the world's largest integrated quantum computing company) on its $1 billion joint venture with Al Rabban Capital, a leading Qatari investment group.

Sam has substantive experience advising clients in the MENA region, developing fluency in the legal, regulatory, and commercial frameworks that shape transactions across the region. His MENA practice spans joint ventures, corporate restructurings, asset consolidation, and high-value commercial arrangements across Qatar and the broader GCC, including in the real estate, health care, and luxury goods sectors. He has also advised clients in the health care sector on global distribution arrangements. Across his broader commercial practice, he has advised clients in the manufacturing and industrial sectors on complex, business-critical services arrangements.
