Overview

Jeryl Bowers is a corporate partner in the Los Angeles office of Crowell & Moring. He regularly advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, technology and intellectual property transactions, and a broad range of commercial and corporate matters. Over the course of his career, Jeryl has closed transactions with an aggregate value of over $20 billion. 

He has particular depth in the health care and automotive technology sectors, including connected vehicle technologies and telematics, as well as experience in real estate services, medical devices, entertainment, defense, gaming, and online retail. 

Before entering private practice, Bowers served as general counsel of PetSmart.com and as vice president, secretary, and general counsel of MediaLive International Holdings. His in-house background gives him a strong understanding of the operational, legal, and business demands facing corporate legal departments and business teams. He regularly serves as outside general counsel to clients, helping them identify issues early and navigate day-to-day legal and strategic matters. 

Clients turn to Jeryl for practical, business-oriented counsel that aligns legal strategy with commercial objectives. In addition to mergers and acquisitions, he advises on a full range of business transactions, including:

Prior to joining Crowell, Jeryl served as co-chair of the Corporate Practice Group at an AmLaw 50 law firm.

Outside his practice, Jeryl enjoys golf and the performing arts.
