Brussels and Doha – April 1, 2024: The Legal 500 Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) 2024 edition has recognized 16 practice areas and 11 lawyers in Crowell & Moring’s Brussels and Doha offices. The 11 individual lawyers received 18 total rankings across the 16 different practice areas.

London – June 9, 2022: Crowell & Moring is strengthening its London corporate practice with the addition of Dr. David Ramm, who brings more than two decades of experience handling private equity, venture capital, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions in the technology sector.

London – May 5, 2021: Peter Broadhurst, a highly regarded competition lawyer, is joining Crowell & Moring’s London office as a partner, expanding the firm’s capability to advise clients on their most complex U.K. and EU competition matters.

London – December 29, 2020: Crowell & Moring’s London office advised Perfuturo Insurance AG on its acquisition of Argo Group’s Italian operations, ArgoGlobal Assicurazioni S.p.A. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals, which are expected to be obtained in the first quarter of 2021. A joint team from the firm’s London corporate and insurance practices advised Perfuturo on the acquisition, which involved a Sale & Purchase Agreement that was subject to English law and jurisdiction. Perfuturo intends to use its EU-licensed insurer to underwrite the business and liability exposures of new technologies, particularly in the energy and food industries.

London – July 23, 2020: Crowell & Moring is advising Cubitt Trade Holdings LLC, a member of the PETRA group (PETRA), on a recommended cash offer for the entire issued share capital of HWSI Realisation Fund Limited (HWSI). Under the offer, each HWSI shareholder will be entitled to receive 55.5 pence in cash for each HWSI share. The transaction, announced on July 22, is to be implemented by court-sanctioned scheme of arrangement under Guernsey law and is expected to close in Q3 2020. 

Washington, January 2, 2020: Crowell & Moring represented Flux7 Labs in its sale to NTT Data, a U.S. subsidiary of Japan-based Nippon Telegraph and Telephone, a global technology services leader.  Founded in 2013 and based in Austin, TX, Flux7 has garnered a sterling reputation as an Amazon Web Services Premier Consulting Partner. Flux7 provides cloud implementation and migration, automation, and DevOps consulting services for cutting edge and large companies, primarily in the software, communications, financial services, pharmaceuticals and retail sectors.

London, February 16, 2017: Crowell & Moring represented Verisk Analytics, Inc., a leading data analytics provider, on its acquisition of Healix Risk Rating, a leader in automated medical risk assessment for the travel insurance industry. Healix Risk Rating, a subsidiary of Healix International Holdings Limited, will become part of ISO, a Verisk Analytics business and a pre-eminent source of information about property/casualty insurance risk for more than 45 years. The transaction will further expand Verisk Analytics’ risk assessment offerings for the global insurance industry.
