Washington – August 20, 2026: The Best Lawyers in America® has recognized 57 of the firm's attorneys in its 2027 edition, a testament to the firm's deep bench of legal talent across practices and offices nationwide. In addition, 29 attorneys have been named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® list, recognizing outstanding attorneys earlier in their careers.

Washington – June 4, 2026: Crowell & Moring earned 92 individual rankings for 81 attorneys, as well as 48 national and statewide practice area rankings, in the Chambers USA 2026 guide. The Chambers guide ranks the country’s top law firms and lawyers through in-depth research, client interviews, and feedback from attorneys at peer firms.

San Francisco – July 17, 2025: Crowell & Moring has added two experienced in-house counsel from Amazon to its Litigation Group, expanding the firm’s abilities to serve clients facing complex consumer product liability issues. Clay Marquez, former Senior Corporate Counsel for WW Stores at Amazon, and Meghan McMeel, former Senior Corporate Counsel for Devices at Amazon, join the firm as partners in San Francisco.

Washington – June 24, 2024: Crowell & Moring has been recommended in eight practice areas in the 17th edition of the Legal 500 United States. In addition, partner Daniel Forman, co-chair of the firm’s Government Contracts Group, has been named to the Legal 500’s “Hall of Fame” for Government Contracts.

Washington – January 10, 2024: Crowell & Moring has published Litigation Forecast 2024: What Corporate Counsel Need to Know for the Coming Year. The 12th-annual Litigation Forecast focuses on trends in intellectual property, regulatory and other U.S. litigation, with special coverage of supply chain recovery and international litigation.

Washington – June 1, 2022: Chambers and Partners has ranked 70 Crowell & Moring lawyers in 84 rankings across 40 categories in the Chambers USA 2022 guide. In addition, 37 practice areas were also ranked in the guide. The regional and national rankings are driven by independent interviews of clients and lawyers.

Washington – January 3, 2022: Crowell & Moring elected 13 lawyers to the firm’s partnership, effective January 1, 2022. The firm also promoted seven to the position of senior counsel and 19 associates to the position of counsel. Washington – March 5, 2021: Crowell & Moring lawyers participated in the National Bar Association Commercial Law Section’s 34th Annual Corporate Counsel Conference, serving as moderators for “fireside chats” with chief executives on topics ranging from how corporate legal departments function to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the private sector to outside counsel guidelines. Taking place virtually from February 23-26, the annual conference was “a place to nurture connections and… spend three days in fellowship with corporate attorneys from law firms and companies around the world.”

Washington, D.C. – March 16, 2020: Fourteen Crowell & Moring lawyers have been named as 2020 Acritas Stars™, a listing of stand-out lawyers in private practice as nominated by clients. Acritas, a leading legal market research company, gathered feedback and data from more than 8,200 client interviews.

Washington – January 24, 2020: Crowell & Moring’s Ruben F. Reyna was elected president of the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia (HBA-DC) for the coming year. Reyna has been an active member within the organization for many years, holding multiple leadership positions.
