Intellectual Asset Management recognized Crowell & Moring in its IAM Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners guide, awarding the firm a gold band ranking as one of the top three firms handling patent litigation and transactions in Belgium, and a silver ranking for the firm’s Chicago office. The firm was also recommended nationally in the United States for trade secrets litigation. This marks the twelfth consecutive year that the firm has been ranked in the guide in Belgium.

Crowell & Moring ranked nationally in 21 practice areas in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms.” In addition, the firm was ranked in 36 metropolitan categories.

Managing Intellectual Property has recognized four Crowell & Moring attorneys and practices in its 2024 IP Stars guide. The guide, which is in its sixth edition, “brings together the world’s foremost law firm and corporate trademark experts, allowing the wider community to benefit from their insight, experience and perspectives.”

The Daily Journal has named Crowell & Moring’s Molly A. Jones as a Top Intellectual Property Lawyer in California in 2024. The annual list recognizes California lawyers who have made significant contributions to intellectual property law over the past year.

Jon Gurka joins Crowell & Moring as a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department, bringing nearly three decades of intellectual property law experience, with a focus on complex patent litigation.

Crowell & Moring elected 16 lawyers to the firm’s partnership, effective January 1, 2023. The firm also promoted five lawyers to the position of senior counsel and 25 associates to the position of counsel.
