The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Crowell & Moring partner Kent B. Goss to its 2025 Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys list. The list recognizes the top litigation lawyers in the Los Angeles region who have achieved outstanding professional successes and contributions to the community.

Crowell & Moring U.K. LLP announced today the addition of a top ranked team of IP lawyers and support staff, led by partners and experienced patent prosecutors and litigators, Dr. Justin Hill and Marie Jansson Heeks. The move strengthens Crowell’s internationally recognized IP practice and broadens the firm’s abilities to advance the interests of intellectual property owners as they seek to grow and innovate. The team joins from Dentons UK & Middle East in London, where Hill served as Co-Head of Intellectual Property.

Washington – June 5, 2025: Crowell & Moring earned 80 rankings for 71 lawyers, as well as 43 national and statewide practice area rankings, in the Chambers USA 2025 guide. The rankings are driven by independent interviews of clients and lawyers at peer firms.

Intellectual Asset Management recognized Crowell & Moring in its IAM Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners guide, awarding the firm a gold band ranking as one of the top three firms handling patent litigation and transactions in Belgium, and a silver ranking for the firm’s Chicago office. The firm was also recommended nationally in the United States for trade secrets litigation. This marks the twelfth consecutive year that the firm has been ranked in the guide in Belgium.

San Francisco – May 30, 2025: The Daily Journal has named Crowell & Moring’s Kristin Madigan as a Top Woman Lawyer in California in 2025. The annual list celebrates “excellence, impact, and leadership across the legal profession” and recognizes the top 100 women lawyers practicing in California. Chicago – April 23, 2024: Laura Lydigsen, co-chair of Crowell & Moring’s Intellectual Property Department, and Jason Stiehl, managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office, have been named to Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2025 list of Notable Litigators & Trial Attorneys. The list features 92 attorneys shaping Chicago's legal landscape from high-stakes litigation to precedent-setting appellate rulings.

Irvine – April 7, 2025: The Daily Journal has named Crowell & Moring’s Kent B. Goss and Jon Gurka as Top Intellectual Property Lawyers in California in 2025. The annual list recognizes California lawyers who have made significant contributions to intellectual property law over the past year.

Washington – February 18, 2025: Chambers and Partners has ranked 12 Crowell & Moring practice groups and 17 individual lawyers in the Chambers Global 2025 guide.

Chicago – February 3, 2025: World Trademark Review again recognized Crowell & Moring as a top trademark firm in its 2025 guide. Crowell received the highest ranking—gold—in the Belgium national ranking, and in Illinois for enforcement and litigation, and prosecution and strategy. The firm also achieved “Recommended” status in the International category and silver in the U.S. National category, and earned recognition as a top firm in California.

The Daily Journal named Crowell & Moring’s Molly A. Jones to its 2024 “Top 40 Under 40” list. The annual list recognizes prominent lawyers in California under the age of 40. 

The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Crowell & Moring one of its Leaders of Influence: Most Admired Law Firms 2024. The list recognizes the top firms to work for in Los Angeles and includes “an assortment of particularly outstanding law firms who are consciously working towards creating diverse, positive, and supportive environments to help drive the success of their attorneys.”

LATINA Style, Inc. honored Crowell & Moring partner Meshach Rhoades and her foundation, the Latinas First Foundation, with the 2024 Community Award. The award was in recognition of the “outstanding contributions and significant positive impact on the LATINA community through… innovative projects, programs, and initiatives that address local needs and challenges.”
