London – July 29, 2026 [Updated Aug. 26, 2026]: Crowell & Moring's London Restructuring and Insolvency team has been appointed by Kroll Advisory in the administration of Woodville Consultants Limited (trading as Woodville Litigation Funding), a motor finance litigation funder with an estimated £330m loan book and more than 300,000 claims under its belt. The team first acted for a group of investors in successfully securing a contested administration order from the High Court and has since been retained by Kroll to assist in the wider administration process.

August 11, 2026: Crowell & Moring represented Vancouver-based Orla Mining Ltd. (TSX: OLA; NYSE American: ORLA) as lead U.S. deal counsel in the closing of its public company merger with Equinox Gold Corp. (TSX: EQX, NYSE American: EQX), creating a new North American senior gold producer with an implied market capitalization of approximately $18.5 billion at announcement.

August 4, 2026: Crowell & Moring represented Antares, a nuclear fission energy company developing compact microreactors for defense and space applications, in connection with its $470 million Series C funding round. The round was co-led by Paradigm and Caffeinated Capital, with participation from Point72 Ventures, Shine Capital, Industrious Ventures, and others.

June 10, 2026: A Crowell & Moring team represented Arkaea Media Group, a B2B media company covering the defense, space, and nuclear energy sectors, in its acquisition of Decoding Bio, a research and events company focused on the intersection of AI and biotechnology. Decoding Bio publishes a research newsletter with more than 10,000 subscribers and hosts the annual AI x Bio Summit.

Washington – June 10, 2026: Crowell & Moring has been recommended in eight practice areas in the 19th edition of the Legal 500 United States. In addition, partner Daniel Forman, co-chair of the firm’s Government Contracts Group, has been named to the Legal 500’s “Hall of Fame” for Government Contracts, and partner David (Dj) Wolff, co-chair of the firm’s International Trade Group, has been named a “Leading Partner” in International Trade and National Security.

Washington – June 4, 2026: Crowell & Moring earned 92 individual rankings for 81 attorneys, as well as 48 national and statewide practice area rankings, in the Chambers USA 2026 guide. May 22, 2026: A Crowell & Moring team represented Kanders & Company in a complex carveout transaction in which Kanders acquired the biosecurity business of publicly traded Ginkgo Bioworks. The resulting company, Perimeter Systems, has launched as the world’s first integrated biosecurity infrastructure platform, designed to transform biological signals into real-time intelligence and accelerate decisive response. At closing, Perimeter secured $60 million in growth capital, led by Kanders in partnership with SCS Financial, Goldcrest Capital, Four Cities Capital, and the Safe Artificial Intelligence Fund (SAIF).

New York – March 9, 2026: Crowell & Moring represented Kutt, a peer-to-peer social betting platform, in its sale to publicly traded Bitcoin ATM company Bitcoin Depot (Nasdaq: BTM).

San Francisco – December 2, 2025: Crowell & Moring represented Antares, an advanced nuclear energy startup building a small modular nuclear reactor, in connection with its $96 million Series B funding round.

Chicago – November 13, 2025: Crowell & Moring represented EMX Royalty Corporation in its public company merger with Elemental Altus Royalties Corp., creating a combined company with an implied market capitalization approaching $1 billion.

Brussels – November 12, 2025: Aubry Daerden has joined Crowell & Moring’s Brussels office as a partner in the Corporate Group, expanding the firm’s capability to represent clients on complex Belgian and EU corporate transactions.

 San Francisco – November 5, 2025: Crowell & Moring represented Farcast, a San Francisco-based startup pioneering advanced satellite User Terminals, in connection with an expanded commercial relationship and a $5 million equity investment from Telesat (Nasdaq and TSX: TSAT), one of the world’s largest and most innovative satellite operators. Under the agreement, Telesat will also appoint a member of the Farcast board of directors to support the company’s alignment with the strategic goals of the Telesat Lightspeed program.

New York – October 9, 2025: Crowell & Moring represented Möbius Industries, a pioneer in “urban mining,” in a $3.8 million pre-seed funding round. The financing was led by Outlander VC, with participation from Mana Ventures, GoAhead, Entropy Industrial, EWOR, E14, Plug and Play, Thursday Ventures, and a group of strategic angel investors.

Chicago – October 23, 2025: Crowell & Moring represented publicly traded NGEx Minerals Ltd. in a complex cross-border precious metals spin-out transaction.
