Los Angeles – February 7, 2025: The Los Angeles Business Journal named Crowell & Moring partners Emily Kuwahara and Nicole Janigian Simonian to its 2025 Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys list. The list honors lawyers who are “impactful on the legal scene while serving as trusted advisors in the L.A. region.”

Chicago – February 3, 2025: World Trademark Review again recognized Crowell & Moring as a top trademark firm in its 2025 guide. Crowell received the highest ranking—gold—in the Belgium national ranking, and in Illinois for enforcement and litigation, and prosecution and strategy. The firm also achieved “Recommended” status in the International category and silver in the U.S. National category, and earned recognition as a top firm in California.

Washington – January 10, 2025: Crowell & Moring has received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2025 Corporate Equality Index, the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. Crowell joins the 765 U.S. businesses that will be honored with HRCF’s Equality 100 Award as Leaders in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion, marking the 14th consecutive year that the firm has earned 100 percent on the Corporate Equality Index.

Denver – January 10, 2025: 5280 Magazine has named Meshach Rhoades, managing partner of Crowell & Moring’s Denver office, to its 2025 list of Denver’s Top Lawyers in the Commercial Litigation category. The 11th annual list features the best attorneys in the region, based on recommendations from peers and follow-up reporting.

International Tax Review named Crowell & Moring partner Christine K. Lane to the North America Tax Practice Leader of the Year shortlist as part of the 2024 Americas Tax Awards. The awards aim to “celebrate the most impressive tax, transfer pricing (TP), tax disputes, and indirect tax teams and practitioners across 15 jurisdictions throughout the region.”

World Trademark Review has recognized four Crowell & Moring attorneys in its WTR Global Leaders 2024 guide. The guide, which is in its sixth edition, “brings together the world’s foremost law firm and corporate trademark experts, allowing the wider community to benefit from their insight, experience and perspectives.”

The Burton Awards honored Crowell & Moring partners Jason Crawford, Olivia Lynch, and Brian Tully McLaughlin with Law360’s Distinguished Legal Writing Award for their article on the future of enforcement actions focused on pandemic relief fraud. The award was presented at a gala reception at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. on Monday, May 20.

L.A. Times B2B Publishing honored Crowell & Moring’s Chahira Solh and Tiffany Aguiar at the 2024 Orange County Inspirational Women Forum & Leadership Awards. Solh was named a finalist in the Executive: Midsize Company category and Aguiar was named a finalist in the Rising Star category. The awards recognize professionals who demonstrate “exemplary leadership qualities within their companies and impacted change across OC communities over the past two years.”

The International Legal Technology Association has named Crowell & Moring’s chief innovation and value officer Alma Asay to its 2024 list of Influential Women in Legal Technology. The annual list honors “outstanding women leaders in the global legal technology community.” Honorees are selected based on their history of mentorship and “level of impact on legal technology.”

Chambers and Partners has ranked five Crowell & Moring practice groups and seven individual lawyers in the Chambers Europe 2024 guide.

Foreign Investment Watch named Crowell & Moring partner Caroline E. Brown to its list of Top Advisors 2024. The list recognizes the “top advisors who provide advice and counsel concerning foreign investment and national security in the U.S. and abroad.”

Crowell & Moring’s International Trade Group has been named a Practice Group of the Year for 2023 by Law360.
