Webinar | 06.22.23, 12:30 PM CEST - 2:00 PM CEST

Address

Virtual

Over the last few years, a number of new laws have been passed that impact commercial contract drafting, such as the entry into force of Book 5 of the new Belgian Civil Code and the adoption of myriad ESG-related rules passed at EU level. In addition, the Belgian Labor Deal, and other labor and employment laws, such as those that came into effect on January 1, 2023, have had a big impact on employment contracts and HR practice.

One of the challenges for companies is to ensure that commercial and employment contract drafting and negotiations are carried out in line with this new legislation. During this webinar, we will explain how the new rules affect your contract drafting and negotiations so that you can make the law work for you instead of against you. Using practical examples, we will guide you through the clauses that are necessary and/or useful, and point out which clauses are best avoided.

Languages: Dutch & French.

State legislatures are also racing to implement their own regulations, particularly around AI’s use in critical areas, such as healthcare, labor and employment, and data privacy. The many sources of regulation raise the specter of a fragmented compliance environment for businesses. This webinar will delve into the Administration’s AI strategy, going beyond the headlines to analyze:...
