Post-2018 Mid-Term Elections: What to Expect in 2019

Webinar | 11.15.18, 9:00 AM EST - 10:00 AM EST

Now that the 2018 mid-term elections are over, please join the Government Affairs team as they break down the results and provide an overview of the political landscape in 2019. The 116th Congress will be divided, and the change in majority party for the House of Representatives will mean changes in leadership, legislative priorities, and in some cases Congressional stalemate. The government affairs team will discuss these issues, as well as what Members of Congress are likely to focus on as they finish out the current Congress, what effect the new Congressional makeup will have on various industries, and a projection on initial policies and proposals that will be in play for next year.

The government affairs team brings experience that includes former senior staff to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and U.S. Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-NY), former healthcare and environmental Congressional staff from both House and Senate personal offices and Committees, and legal and regulatory professionals with extensive experience representing organizations on health care and environmental matters before the U.S. Government.
